Diplomov� pr�ce se zab�v� okolnostmi obnovy a p�estavby hradu K�ivokl�t kn�ec� rodinou F�rstenberg�. Stavitelsk� aktivity jsou sledov�ny v kontextu dobov�ho my�len� historick� �lechty a n�zor� na architekturu a vznikaj�c� pam�tkovou p��i v 19. stolet�. Na hrad je pohl�eno nejen z pohledu jeho kn�ec�ch dr�itel�, ale i n�rodn� probuzen� ve�ejnosti a jej�ch elit. Ned�lnou sou��st� diplomov� pr�ce je tak� pohled na architekty v�nuj�c� se podob� hradu v 19. stolet� se zvl�tn�m p�ihl�dnut�m na f�rstenbergsk�ho stavebn�ho in�en�ra J. B. Urbana na z�klad� jeho dochovan�ch pam�t�.

 

A picture of building activity of a noble family in the age of historicism

This graduation theses deals with the conditions of reconstruction of the Krivoklat castle by the noble family of the F�rstenbergs. Their reconstruction activities are viewed according to the temporal way of thinking of the historical noble families and common attitude to architecture and rising movement of care of historical monuments in the 19th century. The castle plays the role of the F�rstenbergs possession and the other society changed according to the raising of nationalistic moods and the great personalities of the community. Another important part of this work is a survey of the architects who changed the appearance of the castle, particularly J. B. Urban who was the chief of F�rstenberg�s building section. His memories serves as a worth source of information.
