"Přislibujou sobě věrnost, lásku a upřímnost až do smrti zachovati." Vliv rodiny a "přátel" na volbu životního partnera - panství Třeboň na konci 18. a počátkem 19. století

Diplomová práce vychází z rozboru svatebních smluv venkovského obyvatelstva na panství Třeboň, které vznikly na konci 18. a počátkem 19. století. V české historiografii se jedná o poměrně "nový" pramen, kterému ještě nebyla věnována odpovídající pozornost. Úvodní kapitola se proto zabývá uplatněním svatebních smluv v historickém bádání. Jsou zde nastíněna možná témata jako například rodina a životní cykly, postavení svobodných matek nebo kategorie "přátelství". Práce dále vymezuje, kdo byli lidé, kteří smlouvu uzavírali, a jakým způsobem byli snoubenci ve svatebních smlouvách identifikováni. Analyzuje i význam a obsah "věna" a "protivěna" a jednotlivé podmínky v případě úmrtí jednoho z manželů. Následující kapitoly vycházejí z konfrontace jedince s kolektivní mentalitou. Věnují se jednotlivým osobním a rodinným strategiím, roli venkovské společnosti při výběru partnera a v neposlední řadě také postavení svobodných matek a jejich dětí.

 

The diploma work deals with the analysis of countrymen's wedding contracts that were written in Trebon at the end of 18^th and the beginning of 19^th century. The first chapter focuses on the use of wedding contracts in the historical research. It reveals themes such as the family and living cycles, the status of single mothers and the role of close relatives in the lives of individuals. The next chapter covers the content of the wedding contracts. It specifies the people that made the contracts and the way they were identified. It also analyses the function and the content of the bride's and groom's contribution into the marriage and the conditions in case of their death. The following chapters are based on the confrontation of the individual with the collective mentality. They deal with the personal and family strategies, with the role of the rural society in the choice of husband and wife and also with the social status of single mothers and their children.
