Těžký život nuceně nasazených. Nedobrovolná práce pro Třetí říši ve vzpomínkách a svědectvích pamětníků

Má práce se dělí na dvě části. V první se zaměřuji na pracovní migraci Čechů na počátku 20. století. Poté následuje pohled na dvě největší totalitní mocnosti 20. století profitující z nucených prací - Sovětský svaz a nacistické Německo. Dále jsou rozebírány motivy těch, kteří na sklonku třicátých let odešli dobrovolně pracovat do Říše. Následující kapitola analyzuje tři základní kategorie českých nedobrovolných pracovníků - nuceně nasazené civilní dělníky, vězně koncentračních táborů a věznic a uniformované osoby. První díl práce završuje exkurz, který zkoumá fenomén nucených prací mimo Třetí říši a SSSR v souvislostech s českými lidmi.

Druhá část se zabývá aspekty každodenního života a nedobrovolné práce ve Třetí říši z pohledu nuceně nasazených civilních dělníků. Je zde zachycen prožitek okupace Československa, kterou zahájila dohoda velmocí v Mnichově a završil 15. březen 1939. Další kapitola zkoumá proces odvodu na pracovních úřadech a samotný odjezd z domova. V následující kapitole jsou ukázány životní a pracovní podmínky - především ubytování, stravování, druhy vykonávané práce, lékařská péče a přídělový systém. Není opomenuto ani trávení volného času, včetně zábavy, kulturního a sportovního vyžití. Kapitolu zvršuje tabuizované téma návštěvy veřejných domů. Potom zkoumám míru informovanosti nasazenců prostřednictvím oficiálních a neoficiálních informačních zdrojů. Další kapitoly práce se zabývají leteckou válkou, poté vztahem mezi samotnými nedobrovolnými dělníky a jinými národy a také formami odporu. Poslední kapitola ukazuje konec války v Evropě a komplikovanost prvních týdnů života v míru. Součástí tohoto oddílu je také pohled na spojenecké vojáky a zkušenosti s nimi. Pak jsou v letmém nástinu popsány poválečné osudy bývalých nasazenců, proces odškodnění obětí nucených prací a následky, které přetrvávají dodnes.

Základem mé práce jsou sepsané vzpomínky bývalých nasazenců. Jde o zaznamenání unikátních osobních zkušeností, které by jinak byly navždy ztraceny. Kromě toho jsem čerpal informace z deníků, vydaných vzpomínek, memoárů, korespondence, ale i beletrie sepsané bývalými nasazenci.

 

Hard life of the forced labourers. Involuntary work for the Third Reich in the recollections and evidence of the witnesses

My thesis is divided into two parts. In the first part I focus on the employment migration of Czechs at the beginning of the 20^th century. After that I show two most totalitarian powers that benefited from the forced labour - the Soviet Union and nazi Germany. Then I analyse the motivation of the people who voluntarily went to work to the Reich. Next chapter shows three main categories of the Czech involuntary workers - the civil forced labourers, the prisoners of the concentration camps and prisons and the uniformed men.

The second part of the thesis deals with the aspects of the every day's life and the involuntary work in the Third Reich as it was viewed by the civil forced labourers. I show the experience with the occupation of Czechoslovakia, that was started by the Munich agreement and accomplished on 15 March 1939. Next chapter explores the recruitment at the employment office and the departure from home itself. Then I show the conditions of living and working in the Reich - the lodgings, the food, the types of work, the medical care and the allotment system. I also don't neglect the spending of the free time, including fun, culture and sport. This chapter is completed by the taboo theme of visiting of the brothel. After it I analyse the degree of informedness of the forced labourers by the means of official and inofficial information sources. Next chapters show the air war, the relations among the forced labourers themselves and the relations to the other nations and the forms of resistance. The last chapter shows the end of the war in Europe and the inextricability of living in the first weeks of peace. This is followed by the reflection of the Allied soldiers and experience with them. The thesis ends by the cursory sketch of the forced labourer's fate after the war, the process of compensation of the nazi victims and the consequences that persist until today.

The main source of my thesis are the written recollections of the former forced labourers. They are unique personal experience, which would be lost if it wasn't recorded. Moreover, I used personal diaries, published recollections, memoirs, correspondence and also the imaginative literature, which was written by the former forced labourers.
